How to Apply Sports Tape
Sportstape, also known as kinesiology tape, is a versatile tool that can be used to help prevent and treat injuries. It can be applied in a variety of ways, depending on the injury or condition being treated.
To apply sportstape, start by cutting the tape to the desired length. Then, fold the tape in half so that it’s an inch wide. Make sure that the folded edge is against the skin. Next, apply pressure to the folded edge of the tape against the skin, and pull the tape up and away from the skin. Be patient; it may take a few tries to get it perfectly positioned. Finally, re-position the tape if needed, and seal it in place with a bandage or adhesive.
